From Colima to Texarkana

Our Beginning

In March 2006, we opened our doors in Summer Plaza Shopping Center with a simple mission: to serve authentic, delicious Mexican food made with fresh ingredients and generous portions.

Our name, "Colimas," pays homage to the beautiful state of Colima on Mexico's Pacific coast, known for its stunning coastline, volcanoes, and incredible cuisine. We wanted to bring a piece of that magic to East Texas.

What makes us different? We blend the bold, fresh flavors of California-style Mexican food with the traditional recipes from Colima. The result is something unique – burritos as big as your arm, seafood so fresh you can taste the ocean, and salsas made from scratch every single day.

What We Believe

We believe that great food brings people together. Every meal we serve is an opportunity to create a memory, celebrate a moment, or simply make someone's day a little better.

We believe in generous portions because when you leave Colimas, you should leave satisfied – often with enough for tomorrow's lunch too! Our famous burritos regularly weigh over two pounds, and our SUPER Quesadilla is the size of a large pizza.

We believe in honest prices. Great Mexican food shouldn't break the bank. We've kept our prices fair because we want everyone in Texarkana to enjoy our cooking.

Most importantly, we believe in community. After 19 years, we've watched kids grow up, celebrated graduations, and become part of the fabric of Texarkana. That's not just business – that's family.
